J. Martin Tate brings a wealth of experience in the areas of structured finance, secured lending, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, fund raising, public and private offerings, SEC reporting, business formation, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Tate has advised numerous private equity and hedge fund clients on all aspects of their business including initial fund formation, regulatory compliances, investment structuring, financings and workouts.
Since 2006, Mr. Tate has been a managing director and general counsel for Harbor Capital Partners, the investment manager and general partner of the Harbor Real Asset Fund, an asset based lender, where he structured over $150 million in secured lending transactions.
Mr. Tate serves as an outside director for a number of companies and fund managers.
