Business Experience
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Hansen has twelve years of business experience as a private equity investment professional, technology company CEO, and real estate investor, lender and developer. As a principal investor and company operator, Mr. Hansen has led or participated in dozens of transactions involving growth equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, initial public offerings, PIPEs, fund formations, employee equity incentive plans, secured loans, leases, joint ventures, operating partnerships, equipment financings, real estate construction, water rights, and land acquisition and development. This broad business experience enables Mr. Hansen to offer his clients unique insights from the perspective of a person familiar with the pressures, constraints and complexities of operating a business.Mr. Hansen has served on the boards of directors of seven companies. He has been recognized as a business leader by vSpring Capital with the v|100 award, and by Utah Business as one of Utah's top 40 business leaders under the age of 40.
